To the females out there, with HPV genital warts

  • has anyone had surgery to remove genital warts and if so how bad did you hurt after? Was there pain while walking? Where you able to work 2 days later? Thanks

    Yes, I had the surgery twice and did not feel significant discomfort and was able to go back to work soon after.

    I have my 3rd cryotherapy appt in June, my dr says its looking good. I didn't actually have any formed warts, but abnormal tissue (at the base of my vagina), early stages maybe? First time wasn't so bad, a little sore for a few days after, but the 2nd time was rough, I think I even blistered a little. Try and make your appointments not around your period,just so theres nothing extra rubbing/against the area. Sex and tampons are not recommended for 2 weeks post therapy. Im dreading the 3rd one.....and I also take 400 mg of ibuprofen half hr-45 min before appointment.
