Yesterday morning was very rushed at our house and I am concerned after I brushed my teeth with my sonic toothbrush my 10 year old son may have used my toothbrush. Does anyone know if someone could catch herpes this way? I am so worried. I was just diagnosed with herpes in June and still learning. I am very careful but in the rush of the morning I forgot to put my toothbrush up out of his reach.

From what I have researched no he can't catch it that way .... The virus can only live on the body, anytime outside it will die. Also soap and other simple chemicals will kill it don't worry
