If I have hsv-1 genital and my partner has hsv-1, Would it get worst or is it fairly safe to say that we it won't get worst?

    I recently asked an std professional about this. Effectively you can't pass HSV-1 back and forth if you both have it. The same goes for HSV-2. Also, if you have HSV-2 it's nearly unheard of to get HSV-1 from a partner. However if you have HSV-1 you can still contract HSV-2 as well. Stay safe.

    If you and your partner both have it its in your system. You both can not pass it back and forth and you will not get worse. Your breakouts do not effect the other because you both have the virus. It's up to your immune system to keep frequent outbreaks away.
