    The capillaries in the rectum rupture or tear because of the friction and penetration from the penis inside the rectum, when they rupture they are exposed like an open wound, exposed to semen (body fluids) from the person penetrating you anally

    I'm not a doctor, but I believe it has to do with how close the blood vessels are to the surface. Active anal sex can tear the tissues inside and out giving the virus a way into the bloodstream.
