That's a very good question iv been diagnosed with hpv and for men there is tests or way of knowing unless us guys show symptons and unfortunalty no the vaccine does not prevent hpv
Hpv vaccine prevents the warts so and I think cervical cancer (don't quote me lol)
If your partner has it you can still contract it and may not show symptoms or any signs of that matter
If he is showing bumps aka warts the best to stay away from sexual contact until they disappear through liquid nitrogen treatment
But do your research 80 percent of sexually active ppl get this so it is very common and 80 percent of ppl don't know only 2 percent get warts so I mean it's not all that bad like shit you could have it and not even no its very very tricky
Just go for yearly pap tests and smears and you'll be ok
Hpv is harmless if treated just go online and educate
